Reclaimed Africa  was founded by Ronald M. Pinkerton and has been operating in Kenya East Africa since April of 2007'. Ronald was also founder and president of Reclaimed Ministries in New York State, which was established in 1997' and functioned as a multi-facet ministry offering housing for the homeless, Christian coffee house, concert theatre, Gateway Community Community Church, Christian recording studio and many other outreach programs. Ronald has hosted over 500 Christian gospel concerts and has shared the stage with some of the top names in the Christian music industry. He is an accomplished pianist and plays a pretty mean harmonica as well. He has recorded several personal albums including Hymns For Our Savior, For God So Loved and Lovin' Every Moment.


Ronald has been an entrepreneur of several businesses including farming, building contractor and others. He has attended Empire State College and Burean Bible Institute and has completed over 700 workshop hours in counseling and related fields. He is an avid outdoorsman and explorer. Ronald was licensed by the New York State Racing and Waging Board and the United States Trotting Association, and trained/raced Standardbred horses for many years. He also flew hang gliders for six years and was one of the top pilots in the east coast of the USA and Canada logging over 750 hours of flight time. Ronald has been published in Guidepost and Readers Digest magazines and has appeared on several television broadcasts for his mission work in Africa.

From 2007' to date Ronald and his ministry team have traveled hundreds of kilometers throughout the deep interior bush of northwestern Kenya and worked among the primitive Pokot tribe. They have visited over 100 villages and showed the 'Jesus Film' about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to over 19,000 of the Pokot people. They have helped bring clean drinking water to thousands, repaired and drilled several boreholes, and built and started numerous schools and churches in the interior bush area of West and North Pokot.
